What Is CTC

A certified true copy (CTC) is the copy of a document that is stamped and signed as a true copy of the original by a person who is allowed to take declarations. Government agencies in the likes of Immigration, Road Transport (JPJ),  Municipal Councils and Banks have implemented the use of these documents for official submissions. Digital CTC is a transformation of the manual document authentication service through a combination of statutory imaging technology, digital signature, date time stamping and Quick Response Code (QR code) with security features.

 

Public will no longer need to go to SSM offices to obtain documents with CTC stamp. They can buy the SSM documents with CTC from the website www.ReprintSSM.Com. Mostly the CTC validity period must be within one (1) year from the stated date should it exceed the validity period, the applicant must apply for a new CTC document.

Document Types

All three types of documents are official and verified by SSM. You can choose any one of the document type. If an agency such as JPJ, banks, or others requests a specific type of document (e.g. MyData), you must choose MyData. Otherwise, you can choose SafeData Documents, as they are cheaper compared to MyData and e-Info.
